Some thoughts about life. money perspective.

let me count. at least 4 patients with neurological issue with no sign of waking up stayed in ICU. in the other words, these 4 patients will not be recovered and the neurological deficit will be impacted on them permanently

To my surprised, family members are still putting so much hope on their loves one 

I am happy to have these 4 patients in ICU as these patients are our big clients. they contributed at least 15 to 20K daily income for the company. 
on the other hand, do you think these people( doctors or family members) are abusing our healthcare system? 
finally, is it humane to keep them in ICU? 

i guess you will never see this in government hospital and sometime it is kind of a major setback for me to work in private setting. sometime, i think this huge sum of money can be spent meaningfully than invest on a dead body.

During a patient's family with doctor conversation
family member asked: can the patient recover?
doctor expressed: he/ she is going to die.

from the family point of view, they hate this type of doctor and always classify it to have very bad bedside manner. as for their perception, this doctor cold and impersonal with patient.

for you, who read this post may have the same thought as well

on the other hand, if i ever get a disease related to this doctor speciality, i will be running to beg this doctor to be my doctor.

i knew this doctor prof E for years, he is a superb diagnostician and an unerring clinician

Chinese described him as 毒舌
i rather to have someone telling me the truth than someone keeps faking the whole incident and make life terrible

don't you realise, healthcare is not purely healthcare anymore. it has emerged and become a business/ commercial product.

Why is he so attached to me?

i was assigned to nurse a Very Important Person on Sunday in General Ward

despite not having worked in General Ward for quite sometime, closed to 3 years, i was still able to impress him. he expressed that he felt comfortable with me

...on Monday, he requested my boss if she could assign me to care for him, unfortunately, i had to take care of a very sick patient in ICU

Then on Tuesday while i was helping out to take care of a fresh open heart case, the assistant director of nursing asked me, if i could work as a private nurse to him

as for today, while i was travelling in the train, i received a text from my boss, she asked if she could give my phone number to the VIP's personal assistant. the VIP wish to take me as his private nurse.

Gosh, Why is he so attached to me?

i swear i only provide basic nursing care to him on Sunday. nothing extra or beyond basic nursing care.
